The Role:

The CNC - Respiratory Unit provides leadership and direction to improve the continuity of care and support provided to clients diagnosed with respiratory related illnesses.

• The CNC is a pivotal contact point for continuity of care and support for those diagnosed with respiratory diseases and provides advance authoritative clinical expertise for both health clinicians and consumers.
• The position works as an integral part of an interdisciplinary respiratory team.
• The position provides advice, appropriate clinical interventions, case management and consumer advocacy according to the specific and changing needs of individuals with respiratory related illness.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 15 December 2025.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $114,851 to $121,886per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

• Relevant post graduate qualifications or willingness to complete a relevant postgraduate certificate in respiratory nursing
• Current Driver’s Licence
