We are seeking an organized and experienced Physical Security Systems Specialist to join our team. As the Physical Security Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the maintenance, planning, implementation, and completion of physical security projects to ensure the safety and protection of our organization's assets, personnel, and facilities.

What You'll Do

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, timelines, and resource requirements for physical security initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including security personnel, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in existing security systems, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
• Collaborate with external vendors to source and integrate state-of-the-art security technologies and systems.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of physical security hardware and software, such as access control systems, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in physical security to continuously enhance our security posture.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing physical security.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned into future projects.
• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a substantial variety of systems and equipment which may include security and/or building automation. Assignments are broad in nature and may require a high level of ingenuity and proficiency.
• Troubleshoot network issues affecting ESS operability and reconcile issues in coordination with IT/Cybersecurity departments.
• Reads complex blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation requirements

Who We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications 

• Proven experience in managing physical security projects, preferably in corporate or high-security environments.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to create technical project deliverables including reports, assessments, and preliminary sketches.
• Experience with design, installation, and/or commissioning of electronic security systems.
• Strong knowledge of physical security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners; Ability to clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards related to physical security.
• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Project Management, or a related field are a plus.
• Experience with BlueBeam preferred
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, PMP, Security +) are a plus.

 Salary and Benefits

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $69,000.00 -  $159,000.00

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
