Senior Accountant - AS General Accounting - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description:

Maintaining and analyzing the financial records of the various pieces of the John Muir Health System. Including, but not limited to, inputting journal entries, creating reconciliations and performing other monthly close, financial reporting and regulatory reporting responsibilities. This position may also involve directing and managing the activities of some department personnel as necessary.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Accounting Preferred or

• Bachelor's Degree Related Field Preferred

Experience:

• Accounting - Large Public Accounting Firm Preferred and/or

• Accounting - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred and/or

• Accounting - Healthcare Environment Preferred

Skills:

• A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines is required.

• Proficiency in computer spreadsheet skills, specifically with Excel.

• Excellent technical, analytical and communication skills are required.

• Desire to learn, welcomes feedback and interested in personal development and advancement.

Work Shift:

Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$42.21 - $63.31

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
