The ideal candidate possesses a robust technical background and extensive product management experience, is highly data-driven, and demonstrates a proven record of effective leadership and measurable impact.

What You Will Accomplish:

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for eBay’s shipping platforms, specifically Tracking Platform - carrier integrations, shipping buyer and seller post-purchase experiences, notification systems, APIs, and more.

  • Take full ownership of the shipping product ecosystem, ensuring a seamless and high-impact experience for all stakeholders.

  • Foster deep collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Business leadership within Shipping, as well as cross-functional teams internal and external to eBay.

  • Strengthen product management rigor through data-driven roadmap development, A/B testing, defining success metrics, making strategic trade-offs, and launching innovative, high-impact features.

  • Partner with senior leaders across eBay’s management team to integrate shipping strategy with core product and technology initiatives.

  • Define product requirements, establish roadmaps, and prioritize initiatives in collaboration with key internal and external partners.

  • Set clear product and backlog priorities, balancing immediate results with long-term investments in scalable technology platforms.

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management with a strong track record of driving impact to large scale applications

  • Deep understanding of marketplace ecosystems, with the ability to identify and unlock opportunities through data-driven analysis and user experience research.

  • Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in SQL. Adept at interpreting metrics, diagnosing root causes, and uncovering opportunities for growth.

  • Background in consumer-facing applications, social media, or eCommerce technologies; prior shipping experience is not required.

  • Strong ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively across teams and senior leadership.
