Job Summary
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for the Technology & User Support, Teaching & Certification, and IDEA teams, as well as the Quality Assurance Specialist.
Manage and support team leads, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Coordinate cross-team projects to align processes, workflows, and deliverables.
Liaise with internal HR supports on staffing, onboarding, compliance, and personnel processes.
Partner with the Associate Director of Research & Contracts Administration to align HR, contracts, and finance processes with operational needs.
Serve as a bridge between the Director, Associate Directors, team leads, and external partners.
Provide strategic guidance and problem-solving to address operational challenges.
Monitor organizational performance and provide regular updates and recommendations to the Director.
Lead the development and review of operational policies, SOPs, and systems that improve consistency and efficiency.
Represent the organization in meetings and initiatives when the Director is unavailable.
Manages research professionals and support staff involved with planning, monitoring, and compliance aspects of research projects. Advises other researchers on long-range plans for research projects.
Develops goals and operating procedures, practices, and guidelines for research activity based on department strategy.
Manages the laboratory facilities, including the purchase of new equipment and the maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment.
Reviews research of others, and may conduct own research, in area of expertise. Edits and approves articles, reports and manuscripts. Presents research findings at meetings and/or conference. Manages the research of processes in clinical or non-clinical settings. Program and use computers to store, process, and analyze data.
Performs other related work as needed.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and project management platforms.
Proven leadership and management experience, ideally in research operations or program administration.
