About the role

Healthcare Program Eligibility Reviewer

Key Role:

Create efficiency in the consulting profession while supporting healthcare clients at the forefront of Medicaid policy initiatives. Work with a client’s organization to help solve challenges and build better business processes. Become familiar with state and federal policies to perform compliance-based audits to determine if policies are appropriately applied by states or providers. Conduct research and data analysis for consulting projects as we build organizational and process solutions. Build a trusted relationship with the client and identify and anticipate needs across the globe in multiple industries.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in auditing or healthcare in a professional or internship environment

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a matrix team and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Ability to learn new areas of expertise and pay strict attention to detail

  • Ability to conduct research, synthesize information, and present findings or recommendations

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with federal officials, states, and stakeholders on Medicaid and CHIP issues

  • Experience with Medicaid and CHIP programs and policies through educational or entry-level business roles

  • Experience conducting reviews or performing audit functions

  • Experience with the variables, file construction, and data layouts of Medicaid and CHIP data sets

  • Experience in the consulting field

  • Ability to manage assignments and organize tasks logically

  • Ability to work individually or in collaboration with others

  • Possession of excellent organizational skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Master's degree in a health field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
