We are looking for Associate Business Analysts at the early stages of their career to help us in delivering change. This is an excellent opportunity to join our expanding team and support exciting and significant change projects that can have a real impact on people’s lives.

About the role

Have you had experience of improving business processes? Or maybe you have started a career in software development or project management and would now like to specialise in Business Analysis? We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience of making the complex simple, of applying analytical thinking to achieve results, together with great communication skills.

You will have a passion for Business Analysis, and enthusiasm to deliver whilst learning and growing. If you have had some experience of business analysis and have knowledge of the software development lifecycle, this is an exceptional opportunity to develop your career with a pioneering brand.

You will immediately start contributing to our change projects, helping stakeholders to see the big picture and make key decisions whilst learning “on-the-job.”   Additionally, you will be an active member of our Business Analyst community. 

What the apprenticeship programme involves

Joining a dedicated professional Business Analysis team, you will embark on an 18-month apprenticeship programme delivered by AssistKD. You will work towards a Level 4 Business Analyst qualification; more information on the programme can be found here. You will work as part of our experienced Business Analysis teams; working closely with a mentor, who will help you to develop the business knowledge and put your technical knowledge into practice to ensure you succeed and flourish within the business.

What you will get from the programme

By the end of the programme, you should be able to demonstrate good knowledge of

  • Situation investigation and problem analysis

  • Feasibility assessment and business case development

  • Business process improvement

  • Requirements definition

  • Business acceptance testing

  • Business change deployment

  • Stakeholder engagement

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 4 Business Analyst qualification, with a career path and development plan to progress you swiftly within the Business Analysis discipline.

What we are looking for

If you are interested in being part of our team and growing your knowledge, we are looking for individuals that can demonstrate

  • Skills in applying elements of the business analysis skill set and showing evidence of further potential 

  • Knowledge of business analysis and its application in a complex business environment 

  • Knowledge of the project lifecycle 

  • Good interpersonal skills with a track-record in effective stakeholder management 

  • Good communication skills removing complexity & providing transparency 

Apprenticeship criteria

As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will need to

  • To have the right to work in the UK

  • To have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years

  • At least a grade of 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English or be willing to achieve this during the apprenticeship

  • To not have obtained a level 4 qualification in the same subject in this last 10 years

  • To not undertake any other qualification during the apprenticeship
