YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role are to: 

• Apply quantitative analysis and/or machine learning as well develop queryable databases and/or visualization tools to interpret results and inform decisions​;
• Understand and apply statistical measures to determine assay quality​;
• Collaborate with scientists to understand experimental workflows and data handling practices;
• Document protocols in detail for all workflows and ensure knowledge transfer to CSI team members​;
• Collaborate with CSI team members and other Bayer stakeholders to deliver results​;
• Comply with all safety, stewardship, and IT/information security policies and regulations​.

 

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

• Master's or PhD in progress, in biology, bioinformatics, or a related field

• Proficient in data analysis and visualization, such as applying machine learning to inform decisions, developing queryable databases, etc.

• Knowledgeable in and/or interested to learn cell biology laboratory practices, including cell/tissue culture and isolation as well as sterilization best practices​;
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization​, such as applying machine learning to inform decisions, developing queryable databases, etc;
• Demonstrated problem-solving and innovation skills and commitment to safety​;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
