Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Research Manager to lead our Lower 48 Upstream Oil & Gas team in Houston.  Our dedicated oil and gas sector teams are located around the world and deliver research and consulting projects based on our assessment and valuation of thousands of individual assets. Together we work with a range of clients including national and major oil companies, operators, investment banks and institutional investors.

This role is uniquely positioned at the front lines of our Lower 48 upstream commercial analysis where you will ensure that a high level of quality and integrity in all content or data is consistently delivered by your team.  You will be responsible for your team’s consistent and timely delivery of the Lower 48 Upstream Service, which will include the update of assets, company valuations and written reports.

US tight oil is a dynamic and evolving market. In this role, you will lean on a strong analytical foundation and your domain expertise in the space. You’ll bring a strong foundation in discounted cashflow, valuation and upstream analysis. You’ll partake in thought leadership and follow operational and macro trends to prioritize what matters most for our clients.
