The Route Delivery Driver (CDL) is responsible for safely operating company vehicles requiring a Commercial Driver’s License to deliver automotive products to customer locations. This role supports the business by ensuring accurate and timely deliveries, performing vehicle inspections, and assisting with warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CDL-class company vehicles safely and professionally at all times.
- Deliver products to designated customer locations in a timely and courteous manner.
- Unload and stack products with customers and complete required delivery documentation.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the truck and trailer; document and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards the delivery vehicle, including the truck cab and trailer/cargo area.
- Assist with general warehouse functions, including loading/unloading and organization.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
- Remain alert, responsive, and professional on the road and at delivery sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class A or B as required) and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket or logistics industry
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems
- Knowledge of DOT safety regulations

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role involves both warehouse work and on-the-road deliveries. Regular exposure to warehouse conditions, traffic, and outdoor elements is expected. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting are required. Must be able to regularly lift/move 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.Additional Requirements
- Candidates must meet employment eligibility requirements as established by U.S. federal law.
