Teacher, Elementary, 3rd Grade (EX) (2025-2026) - Mother Mary Lange Catholic School, Baltimore MD

Mother Mary Lange Catholic School, serving students in grades Pre-K 3 through 8th grade, is seeking a full-time Elementary School Teacher. The individual in this position will be responsible for sharing the oversight of the cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral environment of the school through managing student behavior and addressing the needs of students in an age-appropriate manner. This position may include other related duties.

Essential Functions

• Create and Implement lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan
• Course of Study, utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge, engage, and inspire students to think confidently and independently.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students
• Integrate the use of technology effectively into the curriculum
• Establish reasonable standards for student achievement. Observe and assess student progress, recording such progress, and sharing with parents as required by school policy
• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Interact effectively and respond to all parent communications in a professional and timely manner
• Participate in faculty meetings, collaborative planning meetings, retreats, school committees, and in-service learning opportunities
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration

Position Qualifications

• Degree in Education or Elementary Education
  
• MSDE certification or the ability to obtain certification in one to two years
  
• Experience in student teaching or classroom teaching at the middle school level
• Familiarity with a variety of technology tools to enrich and differentiate instruction
• Practicing Catholic preferred

Pay Rate:  $46,000 - $55,000, Annualized
