We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team!

What You’ll Do
You will:

Receiving
-
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, packing slips, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Marks materials with identifying information.
-
Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
-
Verifies and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
-
Drives equipment to transport items within the warehouse.
-
Uses computer to enter records.
-
Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
-
Put away
-
Sorts and places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product code.
-
Sorts and stores stocked goods in warehouse.
-
Marks materials with identifying information.
-
Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.
-
Picking
-
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to customers and sales.
-
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
-
Packing
-
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Verifies the product that has been picked and documents discrepancies on an error log and has correct product re-picked.

Confirm tickets.
-
Uses computer to enter records.

Loading
-
Consolidates freight for shipping.
-
Loads trucks for delivery to customers.
-
Routing
-
Facilitates and distributes shipping tickets
-
Verifies shipping method
-
Manages delayed release tickets
-
Communicates oversize loads to freight carriers

Inspects and maintains printing equipment
-
Ensures shipping routes are maintained
What You’ll Bring
Education and/or Experience:
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
-
Three months or more related experience and/or training; or
-
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements:

Ability to:

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Write routine reports and correspondence.

Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
