Job Description
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Must have a working knowledge of CSN’s Student Services; if they qualify to teach the course but do not have a working knowledge of CSN’s Student Services, then they are more than welcome to train with English Dual Enrollment Coordinator a semester before teaching the class.
Teaching ENG 100-102 at their high school.
Teaching ALS 101 at their high school.
Meeting ENG 100-102 course goals provided by CSN English Department.
Meeting ALS 101 course goals provided by CSN English Department.
Must be familiar and able to navigate the learning management system CANVAS.
Must be available for course evaluation once a school year.
Building course based on English Department required text or Open Education Resources.
Submitting syllabus to CSN English Dual Enrollment Coordinator at the beginning of each semester.
Communicating CSN important dates and deadlines to students: Drop/Add, Withdraw with or without a “w” etc.
Communicating with CSN English Dual Enrollment Coordinator regarding questions/issues
