Description

 

The Maintenance Mechanic - are ultimately responsible for the support of maintenance facilities along with the maintenance of component parts and machinery. It will be the responsibility of the Maintenance Mechanic to perform assigned duties safely and in a manner that will ensure the airworthiness of the aviation product. The Maintenance Mechanic will report to the Maintenance Facilities Manager. 

What you will be responsible for: 

  • This role will only perform those duties for which they have been properly trained.  
  • Maintain personal tools in a condition that will not compromise the condition of the product being maintained. 
  • Replace simple items such as batteries, filters and other accessories. 
  • Remove/install inspection plates, cowling, engine covers, floorboards, and related items. 
  • Technician helper for 2 person tasks. 
  • Complete all paperwork in accordance with the procedures outlined in the QCM and RSM.  
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. 

Qualifications

 

What you will need to be successful in this role: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience. Aviation Industry experience a plus but not mandatory. 
  • Understanding of FAA specific processes, regulations, or standards relevant to the role. 
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds unassisted. 
  • Thorough Electrical Knowledge and experience
