Staff Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at the University of Iowa Healthcare is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist with an orthopedic focus to evaluate and treat patients with complex physical dysfunctions, disorders and/or injuries and/or evaluate and interpret findings. •    On Campus: This position is performed fully at the Medical Center University Campus.
•    This position is full-time, 100%.
•    Work schedule: 7:30am – 4:00PM

Qualifications | Senior Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Required Qualifications:
•    A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy is required.
•    Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required.
•    2+ years of experience in Physical Therapy is necessary, with a high degree of understanding of patients with orthopedic dysfunctions.
•    Demonstrated skills in clinical education abilities.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Desirable Qualifications:
•    3+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
•    3+ years of experience evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic dysfunctions.
•    Demonstrates leadership abilities.
•    Demonstrates experience as part of a multidisciplinary medical team.
