About the role

Health IT Program Manager

Key Role:

Serve as a senior leader for Federal Health Life Sciences clients with a blend of delivery and client relationships to maintain and exceed customer satisfaction and to drive growth alongside the market leadership team. Grow key client accounts and bring in new target clients aligned to the market. Execute and lead teams through the entire client engagements and business development life cycle, including relationship building, shaping opportunities, driving market strategies, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients. Drive pipeline and secure opportunities by leading proposal development efforts and supporting delivery teams during execution. Apply expertise in Life Sciences consulting services to lead solutioning with current and prospective clients, including conceptualizing, designing, and implementing Life Sciences solutions to advance the client’s mission and maturity. Work collaboratively with Booz Allen capability teams and market leadership to drive new business opportunities, achieve targets, and provide leadership and mentoring to junior account and delivery managers to build scale.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a delivery role with a federal government contractor in management, technology, and life sciences
  • 5+ years of experience as a team leader developing and mentoring junior staff to build scale
  • Experience managing all elements of delivery, capture, and proposal life cycle
  • Knowledge of Federal Health industry partners and how to develop and implement teaming strategy for client delivery and specific bids
  • Ability to pull in a broad array of firm-wide capabilities, including IT, analytics, life sciences, cyber, and communications
  • Ability to integrate and tailor into a client capability briefing to help shape and influence thinking around client challenge
  • Ability to provide subject matter expertise input to help drive branding with the Health market and with prospective clients
  • Ability to use delivery and business development tools and processes to drive effective client delivery and new capture efforts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with common and emerging technologies and tools, including data sharing and analytics tools to inform stakeholder discussions and business strategy decisions
  • Knowledge of the Federal Health market, including organizational structure, competitive landscape, and buying patterns
  • Ability to demonstrate an established personal network in the Federal Health market
  • Ability to collaborate with Federal Health account leadership and teams to formalize strategies, investments, landscape analyses, and capture in alignment with Health account goals and strategies
  • Ability to achieve wins by obtaining a complete picture of the client’s needs and communicate a winning vision for the proposal to capture team, comfort negotiating teaming agreements, and the drive to close deals
  • Possession of strong interpersonal and strategic thinking skills
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills, including writing skills for a variety of audiences
  • Master's degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics or similar field preferred; Doctorate degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics or similar field a plus
