Senior Technical Services Manager

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Technical Services Manager to join our team in Idaho! This role is open due to an internal promotion and will focus on product and process improvements, support new product development, and enhance existing products. You will lead in evaluating new ingredients and technologies, and manage production projects. Your technical expertise will help us continue producing high nutritional products.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive Innovation: Act as an internal consultant to drive innovation, solve problems, and develop new processes and technologies.
  • Manage Projects: Oversee both short-term and long-term projects, prioritizing based on quality, time, cost, and other critical variables.
  • Ensure Safety: Promote safety, work closely with EH&S department, and comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Lead Process Support: Manage the support for existing plant processes and the development of new processes for manufacturing new products.
  • Optimize Cleaning Systems: Ensure optimization of cleaning systems to minimize loss and enhance the overall control of chemicals, products, and water.
  • Facilitate New Product Testing: Facilitate and execute in-plant testing of new products ensuring full validation and operational readiness.
  • Develop Team Skills: Grow and develop people’s skills and capabilities to build a strong global footprint.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Provide production technical guidance to the technical staff and contribute to the development of business objectives for the department of innovation.

  

Skills and Abilities:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field with eight years of practical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in collecting and analyzing data, defining problems, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report all unsafe activities.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%.
