This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our technology ecosystem while encouraging a culture of excellence and innovation within your team.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Be Doing:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><b>End-to-End Delivery:</b> Drive all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, unit testing, and integration. Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with the product roadmap. Managing iterative releases, and making informed decisions throughout the delivery process.</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</b> Partner with business, product, and UX teams to define and refine requirements for strategic improvements to the LSEG Workspace applications.</li><li><b>Operational Excellence:</b> Collaborate with DevOps to guarantee reliability, scalability, and robust monitoring of infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted service.</li><li><b>Leadership &amp; Communication:</b> Articulate business and technical strategies to your team and ensure alignment with organizational goals.</li><li><b>Reporting &amp; Governance:</b> Provide regular updates to the Development Director on progress, architecture decisions, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.</li><li><b>Team Development:</b> Mentor team members to enhance technical expertise, development practices, and ways of working. Participate in recruitment activities to build and strengthen the team.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Bring:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. MBA and/or PMP certification is a plus.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Frontend (JavaScript and TypeScript) and Full-Stack Development (any back end knowledge is required).</li><li>Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform is desirable.</li><li>Consistent track record managing multiple projects and complex product development cycles in an Agile environment.
