Boeing is currently looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to support the MUOS/Saturn F-15E program willing to work on 1st or 2nd shift on an International Expat Assignment. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
This is a Long-Term Assignment to RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, United Kingdom for a minimum of 3 years supporting Maintenance Operations on the F-15QA. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
The selected candidate will be required to work as an Expat at RAF Lakenheath, UK. The candidate will first go for training in Hazelwood, MO or Mountain Home AFB, ID while work visa is being processed.
Position Responsibilities:
- Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
- Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
- Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems.
- Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.
- Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability.
- Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval.
- Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management.
- Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment.
- Works under general direction.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience on F-15 fighter aircraft platform
- 3+ years of experience in quality
- 3+ years’ experience auditing to quality system standards
- 3+ years’ experience with reading, interpreting and using manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Prior dedicated Quality role
- Experience in the application of AS9100
- 3+ years of F-15 modification experience is desired
- Ability to collaborate with Engineers to develop repair procedures for nonconformances.
- Able to research and create clear depiction problems for engineering to help solve problems that arise using Vector, IQDS, Retrofit Configuration System and REDARS.
- Knowledge of how to research and initiate a change to Technical Data and Engineer blueprints to match real time configuration.

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family
