Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Network Administrator to work in the Texarkana, TX area.

A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• NIPRNET administration and repair services.
• Act as a Senior System Administrator (SSA) to augment Government personnel assigned to the RRAD Information Assurance Division and keep the RRAD NIPRNET network infrastructure functioning properly.
• Will operate under the guidance of the Government Network Manager who has overall responsibility for the network.
• Network troubleshooting and problem resolution shall be conducted in accordance with Army regulations 25-1 and 25-2.
• Analyzing network statistics and troubleshooting complex network issues from the router to the user workstation, switch and router troubleshooting and configuration.
• VPN local troubleshooting and ticket handling.
• Cisco enterprise equipment RMA management.
• Completing user move/add/change operations.
• Configuring newly expanded parts of the RRAD NIPRNET necessary for RRAD production operations (e.g. a production line moving between buildings).
• Other support duties as needed/directed.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

• Associate's degree

Certifications:

• CompTIA Security+
• Cisco (or Army-sponsored equivalent) Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) certifications

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s)
