What you’ll do
Pinnacle is DV’s premier self-service platform serving a wide range of customers worldwide, to facilitate campaign setup tasks and access measurement data as they use DV’s services to authenticate their media spends.
We are seeking a product design intern who is a creative thinker interested in learning more about user experience and interaction design patterns, usability of digital products and systems, the ad tech ecosystem and enjoys getting hands-on crafting up a user friendly experience for our end users when interacting with our DV Pinnacle products/platform,. This role is a 10-week, full-time, that runs from June 12th - August 18th, 2023.
As a product design intern, you will be embedded in the Product Design team within the Pinnacle Product team, gaining first-hand exposure while collaborating with our talented product design, product management, and engineering team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Design easy to use UX design concepts that can meet the product requirements when assigned.
- Participate in end-to-end product design processes—from conceptual ideas to low- and high-fidelity mock-ups.
- Contribute towards our Pinnacle Design System components and IxD patterns library as assigned
- Create short design presentations and present your findings in smaller groups for iterative feedback.
- Attend relevant Product Design team meetings and meetings with other cross-functional teams.
Who you are
- Self-starter and self-motivated creative individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree (HCI, computer science, math, or related field is a plus)
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in UX/product design tools (Figma and InVision) and UX design process
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the willingness to experiment and explore design ideas with stakeholders from different teams (Engineers, Product Managements, Account Managers, etc)
- Previous experience designing data visualization is a plus
- Interested in learning more about digital advertising and the ad tech industry
- Someone who likes to transform research insights into user friendly design solutions (or is interested in gaining the opportunity to do so)
- Creative problem solver who can execute with the provided and guided design direction
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$20.00/hour]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
