About the role

The Labor Technician position is critical to the effective and efficient operation of the Plant. The Labor Technician associate's main responsibility is to streamline the receipt and distribution of waste materials and other received products. The Warehouse Labor technician will also assist other plant personnel in performing their job duties.

Position Responsibilities

  • Processes inbound material for treatment facility
  • Pumps and consolidate drums
  • Pumps or load tankers
  • Scans Material and utilizes Enviroware
  • Operates processing equipment such tow motor
  • Receive shipments and unload trucks
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a neat and clean working environment
  • Enter confined spaces as required and in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with OSHA Health and Safety Rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Abide by Respirator Fit policy.
  • Be able to pass a HAZWOPER training class

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • One plus years tow motor experience, preferred

Physical Demands of the Role

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb 
  • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs 
  • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces 
  • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator 
  • Consistently work in various weather conditions 
  • Be able to pass a Respirator Fit Test (RFT)/Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
