Progressive Leasing, in collaboration with community partners, is dedicated to empowering students in the West Valley City area through education and workplace readiness programs, with a strong emphasis on technology - through efforts of the PROG Foundation. Our mission is to assist in navigating career pathways, equipping individuals with the skills and opportunities they need to achieve opportunities. We achieve this by offering academic support and workplace readiness training, technology certifications, guidance on college preparedness and completion, internships or mentorships, and ongoing support to help individuals build professional relationships.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join us as a Program Manager. As Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in administering all aspects of the PROG Development Center programs. This includes program strategy, delegation, and implementation, while collaborating with partners and serving as a leader, coordinator, and facilitator.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (CORE RESPONSIIBLITIES):
- Strategize, implement, monitor and maintain program initiatives, daily activities that includes the logistics of scheduling and calendaring—and deadlines that adhere to Center objectives and key results
- Coordinate program and projects, and manage project interdependencies and capacity constraints
- Lead high level technical discussions, internally and externally, to ensure all technical requirements are met
- Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
- Experience with agile traits and techniques: lead design, accommodating change requirements, iterations, loop feedback with youth and participant involvement
- Document program protocols, policies and procedures that reflect best practices. Assist team in exploring new concepts that will deliver innovative solutions and significant advancements
- Facilitate committees with stakeholders to discusses program status, goals, communication, problem-solving, and (re)alignment of deliverables that will lead to successful program outcomes
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
- Moderate understanding of industry trends that will impact strategies, strengths and weaknesses of our programs and volunteer coordination
- Work closely with PROG Center Director and colleagues to develop plan for programs, deliverables, required resources, communication, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Assist with negotiating service/development contracts or MOAs and support the budget and resource forecasting process
- Work with leadership and core team members to help identify and assist in making program tradeoffs to balance scope, time and costs
- Foster positive team environment and provide direction in ambiguous situations
- Be a resource in developing upfront estimates of time and resource utilization through organized discovery with stakeholders, partners, youth participants and community
