The Work You Will Do:

Right of Way Agent Trainee - District 5 / Right of Way Production / Appraisal & Acquisition

 

This position will support the Departments mission by improving professional competence to improve the right of way property acquisition process and prepare employees for advancement.

How You Will Grow:

The five-year Right of Way Training Program offers an exciting career path opportunity in the areas of appraisal, acquisition, relocation and property management. The Program consists of formal educational classes and hands-on exposure to the operating practices and procedures required for the taking of land necessary for roadway improvements.

Annual Salary Range:

$46,716.54 - $56,784.26

 

The 2-year Level II (Agent) segment of the program has a fixed starting salary with 5% increases at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months.  Historically, an additional 10% increase is granted upon graduation.  The additional 3-year Level III (Appraiser) segment of the program receives 10% increases at 12, 24 and 36 months. 

 

All salary increases are contingent upon successful completion of each segment and available funding.
