Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Digital Content Strategist to be the driving force behind the planning, creation and management of compelling content across our website and digital channels. 

As the Digital Content Strategist, your core focus will be optimizing the customer experience across digital channels, delivering the right message and content at the right time on the right channel. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure our content aligns with business objectives, engages our target audience and drives results.

The ideal candidate will be resilient and comfortable hands-on, analyzing data, testing, iterating and creating modern content practices to move the needle for our digital channels and customer experiences.

Essential Responsibilities

• Support management of digital content strategy across Trimble digital properties and marketing-focused experiences

• Write and edit website content, including landing pages, blog posts, resource center articles, and other digital assets.

• Ensure web content aligns with the brand messaging framework and editorial style guidelines

• Perform or analyze keyword research to inform content strategy and optimize for search engines

• Assist with QA, auditing, reviewing, and evolving digital content, checking for technical functionality and style consistency. 

• Support the development of expanded content strategies to leverage original content across channels and marketing efforts

• Manage content workflows and approvals; create and maintain editorial calendars to plan and schedule content creation

• Coordinate with other content teams across the sector and organization

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• 5+ years of experience in content-related roles, including writing, editing, research, etc.

• Proven ability developing content strategies across multiple platforms, formats and audience segments

• Experience working in technology or SaaS preferred

• Experience work in construction or similar industry preferred

• Enthusiasm to take on challenges to help us evolve our digital content strategy across the customer journey and lifecycle

• Customer obsessed with a drive to create highly engaging content

• Strong baseline understanding of SEO principles and best practices

• A proven track record delivering meaningful results in a complex digital ecosystem

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong attention to detail and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with peers and across matrixed teams to lead by influence 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
