Where the chemistry happens…
We are seeking a professional like you to manage the production planning at BASF’s Catalyst Manufacturing Plant in Seneca, SC, and its associated contract manufacturing operations to support the demand plan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, establishing, reviewing, and maintaining the production schedule and managing the master data process as well as lead a small team of site logistics coordinators.

As a Supply Chain Planner & Site Logistics Team Lead, you create chemistry by…
- Managing the production planning for the Seneca plant and its associated contract manufacturing facilities by owning and running MRP to determine net requirements, converting planned orders into firm process orders, and establishing inventory targets, safety stock and tracking/communicating progress.
- Leading the Site Planning and Scheduling meetings, working with Operations to the optimal production plan, trial plans, and to optimize cost and service, also being responsible for the plant’s overall production plan.
- Acting as the Site Material Master (SPASS) coordinator for new intermediates, and being responsible for all planning master data, lot sizes, safety stocks, procurement keys, etc.
- Serving as the Global Supply Chain planner for contract manufacturers and global distribution of Seneca produced materials and acting as back-up Site Raw Material Planner.
- Acting as site liaison for raw material dysfunctional inventory by recommending and pursuing appropriate disposition of returned, damaged, aged and off-spec inventory with marketing or plant personnel.
- Tracking and contributing input to published KPIs: Inventory value (OIV) and Days of Inventory (DIV), Dysfunctional Inventory, Delivery Reliability, and NCMs (Non-conformance). Analyzing those KPI reports, identifying trends and recommending solutions.
- Managing a small team of site logistics coordinators (2) for all the system movements for inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with customer care and onsite logistics personnel.

- Have education in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline, combined with your related experience.
- Have a strong interpersonal and communication skills will be essential, strong organizational skills and your ability to effectively use ERP supply chain software tools.
- Have a good problem-solving skill, ability to effectively set priorities and make decisions.
