What You’ll Be Doing:

Evolent is recruiting a Managing Director to join our Solution Strategy & New Product Development team.  The Solution Strategy team is a centralized product strategy and innovation group responsible for ensuring that Evolent delivers impactful, distinctive solutions that create market-leading value for our customers.  The team leads cross-functional collaboration to set the strategic direction for Evolent specialty solutions, incubate and launch new products, and enable partnership development and growth.  The Managing Director position is a highly visible enterprise leadership role and will oversee a portfolio of product initiatives of pivotal importance to Evolent’s specialty care strategy.

Collaboration Opportunities:

Setting the company’s long-term solution vision in defined specialty areas

• Structure and oversee market research to understand industry problems and customer needs, assess the competitive landscape, size emerging opportunities, and identify solution differentiators
• Define and communicate an enterprise-wide point of view on the market opportunity and Evolent’s solution strategy
• Align stakeholders on a clear, compelling specialty solution vision and strategic roadmap
• Represent the solution vision effectively to internal and external executive decision-makers

Accelerating the company’s growth with market strategy and product expertise

• Continuously sharpen solution positioning and optimize scope and business models
• Partner with business development and account management leaders on solution sales strategy, bringing extensive industry and product knowledge to maximize value creation for clients
• Manage the development of succinct market-facing and internal solution collateral
• Engage directly with C-suite leaders in current and prospect client organizations on Evolent product strategy and innovation

Incubating new products to increase value creation and competitive differentiation

• Prioritize enterprise opportunities for product innovation
• Structure and oversee build/buy/partner decisions for prioritized opportunities
• Develop and manage relationships with potential third-party strategic partners
• Lead a cross-functional team in ideation and definition of new product concepts
• Partner with technical leadership to ensure product functionality meets business requirements
• Spearhead pilot site recruitment and plan for successful Go-To-Market
