Position Specific Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP BOBJ and Business Warehouse Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Business Warehouse systems as well as creating and updating operational reports that empower decision-making through data insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Implementation:

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Business Warehouse (BW) solutions tailored to fit the business requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Work closely with business analysts and end-users to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.

    
Data Integration and ETL Processes:

• Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP BW with other applications and databases.

 

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP BW and BOBJ solutions to ensure efficient data processing and timely reporting.
• Identify and resolve any performance issues or bottlenecks within the data warehouse and reporting environments.

    
Documentation & Testing:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities, including technical designs, test plans, and user guides.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test scripts for testing, compliance, and validation.
• Qualifications:

 

Experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP BW Developer and SAP BOBJ Developer.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BW data modeling, process chains, data extraction, and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in SAP BOBJ tools including Web Intelligence, Dashboards, Crystal Reports, and Universes.

    
Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP BW data warehousing concepts, ETL process, and data modeling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Experience with SAP BW on HANA is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC and S/4HANA data sources.

Job Overview

Employees in this role are responsible for specification and configuration of SAP application enhancements and proactive identification of opportunities to use SAP functionality to better support business processes, along with providing end-user support.
