Sr. Financial Analyst (costs)

Description

At Inter Miami CF we're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst focusing on costs, to join our Finance Team in Coral Gables. You will be responsible for assisting in budgeting and forecasting, ad-hoc financial modeling for strategic or other growth initiatives, and analysis / reporting of operational and key financial performance indicators related to controlling the company’s expenditures (e.g., operational expense and capital expenditures). 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Maintain financial models for the expenditures.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the different departments to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
• Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
• Assist in the evaluation of potential investments (Capex).
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• 3 or more years of progressive experience in financial modeling, planning, and reporting experience.
• Demonstrated analytical and financial acumen, financial modeling, and strategic thinking.
• Ability to distill and present complex financial information into digestible outputs for executive leadership.
• Ability to work well on a team and independently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products. Strong grasp of Excel required.
