What You Will Achieve
This role is a shop floor leader for Drug Product operations. The scope includes direct reports with several different job titles, and responsibilities for multi-shift operation split between multiple team leaders (TL). Key accountabilities include day to day management of the shop floor personnel and schedule, ensuring all product is produced in a manner meeting safety, quality, efficiency, teamwork and human performance requirements. This position will support 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) operations of the Non-Sterile Packaging Process Centric Team (PCT).

Lead people, technology, and financial resources to achieve desired outcomes.

Identify and develop innovative concepts for process or product improvements, taking calculated risks to achieve results.
Recognize and address development needs, creating opportunities for colleagues' growth.
Manage the performance of direct and indirect reports, providing mentorship and support to achieve the business objectives.
Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, batch records, Current Good Manufacturing Practices, and plant protocols.
Drive investigations into safety or quality incidents, implement corrective and preventive actions, and maintain clear communication to prevent reoccurrence.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with 0+ years of experience;
OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experienceProven record of problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated application of process improvement tools
Strong people management experience
Effective written and oral communication skills
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related field
Ability to manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities

Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
Ability to mentor and develop direct reports

Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Job will include standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required. Ability to wear appropriate PPE and gowning for the area.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Position supports 2nd shift operation (1400-2230, M-F).
Occasional weekend, variable shift, shutdown and holiday coverage.
