Integrated Dermatology has an opportunity for a full time MA/Histotech in our Colchester, VT location.

To join our team, you MUST be a team player, highly motivated with the ability to precisely and accurately perform routine histology techniques.

Job Description

MA:

• Take patients in exam rooms
• Computer/Ipad skills for charting
• Call patients with results
• Clean and stock rooms
• Clean instruments/wash and fold exam gowns

Histotech:

• Prepare tissue samples by fixing, staining, dying and other methods
• Use maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, keep a clean and disinfected work area
• Maintain inventory of supplies, material and equipment

Qualifications

MA:

• Prior Medical Assistant experience
• Dermatology experience

Histotech:

• Experience working in a lab is preferred, as this is a critical part of the job
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to work independently and with other team members

Job Type:

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
• Occasional travel to Plattsburgh and Waterbury
• Pay starting at $28/hr

Experience:

• Dermatology experience is highly preferred
• Mohs experience preferred but we will train the right candidate

Education:

• High School Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science

Certifications/Licenses:

• Medical Assisting Certification is preferred
