Trissential is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our client’s team and drive automation, operational excellence, and process optimization within their Avaya ecosystem. Your Role & Responsibilities

• Lead Avaya automation initiatives, reducing manual work and streamlining ticketing systems
• Manage Tier 2 operational issues, resolving complex Avaya-related problems
• Work on solution design for Avaya services, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency
• Oversee release management, including security updates, patches, and upgrades
• Collaborate with engineering teams, ServiceNow groups, and vendors to improve Avaya service delivery
• Create knowledge base articles and training materials based on operational data
• Support legacy cleanup efforts, improving data quality and system reliability
• Provide high-level technical support for Avaya CM (Communication Manager) and SM (Session Manager)

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst specializing in Avaya
• Deep expertise in Avaya Aura (Version 10 preferred, Version 9 acceptable)
• Strong understanding of Avaya CM and SM system design, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience with problem management, release management, and security updates for Avaya platforms
• Virtualization experience, including VMware and server configurations
• Background in Tier 2 or Tier 3 managed support services
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, ticketing systems, and automation processes

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience in project delivery using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and complex system support experience
• Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Certifications in Avaya or Virtualization technologies

Education & Certifications You Need:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Avaya or virtualization-related certifications highly preferred
