What’s the role?
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with marketing / marketing technology experience to lead product development for a group of talented engineers who manage user data and marketing campaign data.
As the Senior PM you will be responsible for creating a strategy, a plan with dependencies and key dates to reach marketing goals.This role includes a heavy amount of execution and project management to drive success of your strategy with so many stakeholders. This is a full-time position reporting to the Group Product Manager, Marketing Technology and the base salary range will be 149,000.00 - 193,000.00 USD per year. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.
For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. - We work closely with marketing managers, machine learning teams, ad agencies, and industry ad leaders like Google, Meta, and Apple who are changing advertising policy for the world.
- An exciting goal for our team is to optimize our product catalog and infrastructure that we send to Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Bing, Affiliates. We're trying to help marketing spend as efficiently as possible and we're trying to help surface the highest quality inventory to buyers as possible.
What does the day-to-day look like?
- Facilitating brainstorming sessions with a XFN group
- Prioritize your roadmap consistently based on impact, risk, and urgency. Communicate commitments to your stakeholders
- Workshop complex experiment design with analytics and marketing
- Work with marketing, legal and design on pioneer, future forward ad product optimizations
- Collaborate with Google ML and Etsy ML teams to extract insights
- Manage Google Partnership and provide feedback for what's working and where there could be improvement. This communication is needed at various levels of seniority
- Partner closely with Marketing Leads, analytics, and engineering to define a compelling long-term vision for campaign and product structure
- Designing an OKR for a new track of work
- 1:1s with your manager who helps you prioritize

Qualifications
Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:
- Deep marketing background including an analytical mindset to how marketing approaches measuring a wide range of tactics: CPCs, ROAS, CPI, CPMs
- Someone who's worked on high impact projects / high stakes / high dollar amounts (start up only is no good).
- Someone who's worked with many stakeholders before (complex stakeholders). Large companies may have more experience with this.
- Someone who's worked with complex experiments with various dependencies and limitations. WE're basically looking for someone who could game Google's bidding algorith
