We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the General Manager in managing staff and resources effectively. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
• Supervise staff, providing guidance and support in their roles while fostering a positive work environment.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked and accounted for.
• Oversee food preparation and catering services, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Utilize POS system for efficient order processing and financial tracking.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Train new employees on company policies, food handling procedures, and operational protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and presentation.

Experience

• Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Familiarity with bar operations and food preparation techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience with inventory control systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices is essential.
