Primary Functions:

This position focuses on accurately and efficiently receiving and processing incoming materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving materials in the warehouse.

 

Position Responsibilities:

1. Unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items for customer orders. May be required to update the Warehouse Management System in certain instances.
2. Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming and outgoing material.
3. Responsible for filling customer orders using a pick list and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards.
4. Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, regarding project tasks.
5. Ensure the warehouse area is clean and organized, and that all safety procedures are being followed at all times.
6. Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment. Report any malfunctions, insufficiencies, or necessary repairs through the relevant channels.
7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months to a 1 year of related experience and/or training.

 

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Dependable daily attendance and work output
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand comfortably for six or more hours at a time

Preferred:

• Some prior warehouse and logistics experience
• Experience with computer-based inventory systems
