Technical Consultant - QA

We currently have a career opportunity for a Technical Consultant - QA to join our team located in Irvine, CA.

As a QA Technical Consultant with Automation expertise, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our client’s products/application through rigorous testing and the implementation of automation frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Define testing objectives, scope, and approach for various projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Evaluate and recommend automation tools and technologies that best fit project needs.
• Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects.
• Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
• Consulting and Client Interaction experience.
• Act as a subject matter expert in QA and automation, providing guidance and best practices to clients.
• Conduct assessments of clients' existing QA processes and recommend improvements is a plus.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and workshops.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in QA and automation.
• Mentor and train junior QA engineers and client teams on automation techniques and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA with a focus on automation.
• Strong proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or equivalent
• In-depth understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar is a plus.

 The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $45,864 to $101,520. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
