Job Description
N-Able’s N-Central Platform is utilized to support Remote Monitoring and Management. The N-Central Program Specialist is pivotal on the Enterprise Programs team, responsible for N-Central platform administration and deployment strategy/support. This role aligns closely with other Enterprise Program Specialists and Cyber Security teams to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient IT operations.
Specific Responsibilities
Initial Focus:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the N-Central platform.
- Implement monitoring and alerting configurations tailored to specific business needs.
- Create automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline N-Central processes.
- Perform troubleshooting and provide Level 2/3 support for issues related to N-Central.
- Support technical asset management and reporting for inventory management.
- Oversee successful deployment of software, updates & patches utilizing N-Central.
- Ensure security compliance tools and remediation efforts align with company policies and assist in those efforts.
Future Focus:
- Develop and execute rollout plans for N-Central, coordinating with business leaders.
- Create and refine End-user support and training reference materials
- Offer technical expertise for compliance tools and contribute to audit data collection/reporting.
- Act as a technical liaison with vendors and third parties.
- Define, collect, analyze, and report on key performance indicators.
- Gather and analyze user feedback for continuous improvement of the platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in IT operations, with at least two years focused on N-Central or equivalent Remote Monitoring and management platforms.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities.
- Proven ability to participate and excel in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, incident response protocols, and vulnerability management practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Detail-oriented with high personal integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively across departments.
