Sr. Manager, Amazon Flex, Flex

At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called Delivery Partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, partners act as their own boss. They can build their own schedule and choose from different types of opportunities (scheduled-ahead blocks, instant offers), all while making great earnings. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced systems, allowing partners to sign in, grab an offer for a time, check out a map of the location, and more.

We are seeking a Sr. Manager Amazon Flex. Your team will own capacity, cost, and quality; finding effective ways to improve the program and processes through your team. You will own strategy, management, measurement, testing, and execution of capacity and driver experience. As a senior leader on the Amazon Flex team, you will work closely with business, management, the leadership team, and other stakeholders like Legal and PR within the business unit to ensure alignment to overall objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Work at the strategic level to champion bold and creative ideas
• Own top-level business goals, and ensure that the team meets its objectives
• Be responsible for delivery partner experience within the different operations programs
• Write business plans/proposals to champion testing with business and finance partners
• Maintain and refine scalable, repeatable and comparable methods of measurement and performance tracking for campaigns
• Earn trust from internal and external partners, manage multiple projects, and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment
• Recruit, develop, and inspire a team of world-class program managers

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of team management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
