We are seeking a dedicated PRN Military Clinician / Social Worker (Licensed or License-Eligible) to provide direct therapeutic services and psychosocial support for military-affiliated individuals in a dynamic clinical setting. This flexible, on-call role is ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive team. The role involves assessments, therapy, group facilitation, case management, and documentation using leading EHR platforms including Oracle Cerner, Epic, and MHS Genesis (preferred). This role requires flexibility, weekend/holiday availability, and a commitment to high-quality, trauma-informed care. Prior experience in a federal or military healthcare environment is highly preferred. Public Trust/NACI clearance is required.

Pay commensurate with experience.

PRN Military Clinician / Social Worker Responsibilities Include:
- Provide psycho-social assessments, individual therapy, and family therapy for military patients.
- Carry and manage a therapeutic caseload and maintain updated treatment plans.
- Lead specialty focus groups and psychoeducational programming.
- Collaborate with families, referral sources, and treatment teams to optimize patient care.
- Participate in unit activities, performance improvement committees, and quality review initiatives.
- Perform chart audits and documentation review for continuous quality improvement.
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Utilize EHR platforms such as MHS Genesis, Epic, and Oracle Cerner for documentation and coordination.
- Be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexibly scheduled shifts as needed.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
PRN Military Clinician / Social Worker Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related social services field.
- A minimum of two (2) years of direct patient care experience is preferred.
- Experience working with adult and/or adolescent populations in clinical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to provide trauma-informed care to individuals with varying cognitive needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clinical standards and team collaboration.
- Training or familiarity with MHS Genesis preferred; experience with Epic or Oracle Cerner strongly valued.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as required by DBHDS (Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services) regulations
- LPC or LCSW – Preferred (Licensed-Eligible will be considered)
- CPR Certification – Preferred
- Handle With Care – Preferred
- Must meet all eligibility and credentialing requirements for clinical care in government or military settings.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
