Sr. Associate, Business Development - Luxury Travel

As Capital One continues to expand into the premium market, we are currently looking for a Senior Associate, Business Development - Luxury Travel, who excels in executing business development plans to achieve goals. This talented individual will help drive growth and the business development cycle for vacation rental partners within our luxury travel programs while managing new accounts and ensuring efficient onboarding and ramp-up. The Senior Associate will also drive market presence by participating in industry events, conferences and activities that increase awareness of the Capital One premium collections.

This role will have responsibilities in Account Management and Operations for Vacation Rentals including day-to-day partner support (troubleshooting, answering questions), supporting new partner onboarding, producing insights for partners based on trends, presenting results and growth opportunities to partners, and representing "voice of partner" for future program enhancements & launches.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for established partners, managing day-to-day account activities, including customer interface, troubleshooting, and supporting portfolio growth of luxury travel program homes.

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key business drivers & deliver immediate, sustainable and measurable results

  • Produce insights and recommendations based on data/trends

  • Provide operational support for luxury travel programs

  • Support partner onboarding processes

  • Maintain communication with internal and external partners to manage the customer experience journey for luxury travel partners

  • Maintain and update luxury vacation rental dashboards

  • Assist in creating and customizing business development pitch decks

  • Organize and maintain up to date business development-related documents

  • Support Business Development and Account Development efforts

  • Achieving results with complex projects

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification

  • At least 1 year of experience in a business development position within the luxury travel or hospitality industry

  • At least 2 years of experience in partner management or account development or business development with a focus on building and managing partnerships

 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years of experience and a successfully proven track record in B2B sales and business development within the luxury travel or hospitality industry

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $109,000 - $124,400 for Sr Assoc, Business Development
