QA Automation Engineer

This is a remote position.
We’re looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join a cross-functional delivery team that builds end-to-end digital solutions — from specification through to production deployment. You’ll work alongside backend and frontend developers to define test strategies, write and maintain automated test suites, and ensure the stability and reliability of modern applications.Main Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scenarios in collaboration with development teams
Define and execute test strategies for new and evolving applications
Perform API, UI, and integration testing
Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines from a QA perspective
Collaborate with developers to identify edge cases and ensure sufficient test coverage
Document test results, report defects, and follow up on resolutions
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in test automation
Proven ability to design and write automated test scripts
Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar
Experience testing RESTful APIs (e.g. using Postman)
Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and test setup
Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira
Comfortable working in both Polish and English (client communication may be in English)
Scripting or programming knowledge in C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript is a plus
Nice to Have
Experience with BDD, DevOps pipelines, or AI-assisted testing
Familiarity with test management and automation frameworks such as Jenkins, Xray, Robot Framework, Testim, etc.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Exposure to international projects and multicultural team environments
