Reporting to the North American Restaurant Operations Execution Director, the K Kitchen brand manager will have full P&L responsibility of the K Kitchen restaurant brand for North America, meeting financial objectives and return on investment goals for the program. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced food program/restaurant leader to make a lasting and significant contribution within a high-performing team and culture.
Essential Functions :
- Increases sales revenues and product margins by developing promotional concepts and calendars, sales initiatives, and product selection.
- Analyzes, reports, and presents on the business on Key Performance Indicators including sales, costs, margins, labor, and other metrics that are critical for success.
- Directs pricing and promotional calendars for the brand and coordinates with the QSR Marketing Manager. Manages pricing files and program pricing execution with Circle K’s Pricebook team.
- Implements 3rd party delivery at sites where available. Manages 3rd party delivery menu management, pricing, and reporting.
- Creates additional sales opportunities for grab & go products within the convenience store that are produced from the restaurant.
- Develops and standardizes cross-merchandising planograms in the restaurant with convenience products. Leverages procurement and buying power to secure best possible pricing and assortment for program.
- Selects and manages vendors, negotiates costs and terms for products to be used for the K Kitchen brand.
- Oversees supply chain and works with culinary team to develop new LTO’s, product quality improvement, packaging, and guest experience.
- Manages and updates restaurant labor model to ensure optimal labor efficiency within the restaurant program.
- Conducts and manages brand audits and brand compliance standards across the network.
- Coordinate new store openings successfully with operations teams across multiple business units across multiple states. Attends and leads new store openings in new markets.
- Works closely with Circle K’s global facilities team on floorplan layouts, equipment for the program, and technology.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; or participating in professional societies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, operations, or other related field preferred. Other combinations of job-related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted.
- Seven years of experience or more preferred; including a minimum of five years of management responsibility in restaurants or food service.
- Financially proficient in understanding Profit & Loss Statements and ROI
- Effective negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, ability to generate reporting and presentations ad-hoc.
- May require up to 50% travel.
- Valid driver’s license required.
