As Manager, Product Application Cheese, you will contribute to developing new coatings and coating-applications, support sales and marketing efforts, create technical content, deliver presentations and trainings, and identifying market needs for solution implementation. The position is based in the Business Unit Taste Texture & Health (Cheese organization).

Your Key Responsibilities

• To manage, build and share the know-how in Dairy Application (more specifically in the field of cheese coatings) and to act as the technical expert in this field towards the internal (R&D / Sales / Business) and external world (Customers/Partners)
• Build up and maintain application and industry knowhow and use this knowledge to generate new profitable business
• To identify needs and opportunities in the market together with the business and deliver and implement solutions.
• Develops new products based on existing technologies and improve existing products/ applications together with operations
• Together with the TSM /AM support customers in NPD, producing new applications and resolve technical problems
• Support the QA and the technical sales team with customer complaints
• Develop lab scale processes and recipes to demonstrate the existing dsm-firmenich solutions as well as to challenge new ideas and ingredients, including the set up and validation of relevant analysis
• Provide technical content for our value propositions & sales presentations and documentations. Give application presentations and trainings for internal team as well as external at for instance seminars or webinars
• To participate in product development projects with industry insights and expertise and drive work packages in collaboration with R&D, and the business, delivering new products, applications, and innovative concepts/solutions in line with the business strategy
• Initiate and drive projects developing new applications and/or new ingredient blends and ingredient combos for the market.
