Job Description
Responsible for executing activities related to onboarding, separations, and administrative HR functions. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail, effective interpersonal skills, and problem-solving capability. The ability to wear multiple hats to address challenges is essential for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Support the recruitment function and own the onboarding and offboarding process
Initiate and review background checks and drug screenings
Prepare offer letters and complete new hire setup within the HRIS (Paylocity)
Manage manager and employee communications
Ensure new hires are successfully integrated through follow-up and communication with management
Launch 30- and 90-day new hire engagement surveys and communicate quarterly metrics
Conduct new hire orientations
Complete Sage setup for new hires, including timekeeping and project setup
Prepare separation letters and execute HRIS termination actions
Manage unemployment communications with external vendor
Coordinate with Payroll on matters including terminations, PTO, tax, and pay setup
Support immigration requirements in coordination with attorney and employee
Create and maintain employee personnel records
Adhere to internal processes, documentation requirements, reporting, and auditing standards
Lead with a highly engaged, can-do attitude and foster the same within the team
Support employees during the benefits enrollment process
Assist with employee events
Maintain strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
Perform other duties as assigned or as business needs require
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments strongly preferred
Minimum of one year of experience using an HRIS such as Paylocity, SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar
Strong organizational skills with proven attention to detail and ability to multitask
