Inside office environment with 20% time spent on production floor.  Noise levels on production floor require hearing protection and the floors can become slippery due to oil. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Data Specialist you’ll be part of our team located in Montpelier, IN.  You’ll get to:

• Verify the quantity and quality of items against purchase orders or delivery notes
• Record and document all received goods, ensuring accurate inventory records within the MRP system
• Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received goods
• Communicate with shipping and purchasing regarding delivery schedules as needed.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Direct and lead WIP and raw material cycle counts with respective personnel
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Perform tool crib attendant duties as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a receiving clerk or in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
• Familiarity with industry-specific inventory management systems preferred
