Our Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Securitas is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Flex Security Officers. This role offers $18.00 per hour

Flex Officer Summary:

As a Flex Security Officer, you will provide coverage for a variety of shifts and locations based on business needs. You will fill in for absences, vacations, and temporary security assignments. Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be able to work at multiple client sites across Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts.

General Job Duties:

?? Provide professional customer service
?? Control access points (entry/exit) at client sites
?? Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to inspect buildings and grounds
?? Monitor security via CCTV surveillance systems
?? Observe, report, and document suspicious activities & incidents
?? Respond to emergency situations following established protocols

Minimum Qualifications:

✔ 18 years of age or older
✔ Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
✔ Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
✔ Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
✔ High school diploma or GED
