Primary Responsibilities

  • Review vendor and customer master data created by divisions in Vistex
  • Validate Tax identification and Non-Trade vendor name on IRS website
  • Confirm Non-Trade vendor addresses on United States Postal Service website
  • Assess supporting documents provided for master data creation and maintenance
  • Save and Post Non-Trade master data record to SAP
  • Extend existing vendor
  • Maintain certificate of insurance on related vendors
  • Set up supplier, corporate account, and sales representative for supplier billing
  • Save and Post customer master data record to SAP
  • Set up grant and fund of all supplier billing
  • Extend existing customer and grant accounts
  • Maintain accuracy of sub-ledger with reconciliation account
  • Maintain files as needed
  • Review and address Customer Care Tickets as assigned
  • Filter and address emails sent to Team email address for vendor review, research and completion
  • Prioritization of job workflows and emails
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development,  and communications skills
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP financials a plus
  • College courses in financial accounting or related experience a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 – 2 years experience in general accounting required
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles
  • Understand and utilize sound customer service skills to exceed internal and external customer expectations.
  • Able to assess and monitor own performance.
  • Team player, energetic, self-starter, motivator
  • Critical Nature of this job may require extended hours

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
