You will partner with internal teams, customers, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality solutions, strong documentation, and successful commissioning results.</p><h2></h2><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Design and configure technically complex HVAC building control systems in line with contract documents and project requirements.</p></li><li><p>Create flow diagrams, sequences of operation, bill of material, network layouts, and electrical schematics as needed.</p></li><li><p>Develop and test software programs required to operate the system as intended.</p></li><li><p>Prepare drawings, equipment schedules, and submittals to support installation and project execution.</p></li><li><p>Select, order, and track materials for assigned projects.</p></li><li><p>Support factory-mounting processes, controller loading, and commissioning activities.</p></li><li><p>Validate system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with subcontractors and other trades.</p></li><li><p>Provide field change information for as-built drawings and software updates.</p></li><li><p>Keep project teams and customers informed of progress, issues, and key decisions.</p></li><li><p>Assist with site-specific training for owners and operators on the total building control system.</p></li><li><p>Support value engineering efforts that improve cost effectiveness while protecting customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a strong focus on safety for employees, subcontractors, and the job site.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>How You Will Do It</h2><ul><li><p>Own the outcome by delivering safe, accurate, and timely engineering support that helps field teams meet project goals.</p></li><li><p>Stay close to the work by aligning design decisions with contract documents, site conditions, and customer intent, and by removing obstacles quickly when they arise.</p></li><li><p>Improve every day through disciplined troubleshooting, candid communication, and practical problem-solving during programming, testing, and startup.</p></li><li><p>Win as one team by collaborating closely with project managers, field technicians, subcontractors, consultants, and owners.</p></li><li><p>Use Niagara Framework-based tools and building automation protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LON to support system integration and operation.</p></li><li><p>Apply clear documentation practices so submittals, as-builts, and software updates reflect the latest project information.</p></li><li><p>Balance technical quality, schedule awareness, and customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.</p></li><li><p>Follow Johnson Controls safety expectations and bring integrity to every interaction and handoff.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience integrating low-voltage building subsystems using industry protocols such as LON and BACnet.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Niagara Framework-based systems, including JACE controllers and Tridium Server environments.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Niagara Workbench for programming, graphics development, and diagnostics.</p></li><li><p>Ability to communicate technical information clearly to a non-technical audience.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated advanced computer skills, particularly with computer-related drafting tools.</p></li><li><p>Ability to support commissioning, troubleshooting, and field coordination in a project-based environment.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Nice to Have</h2><ul><li><p>Level 1 and Level 2 certification.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Why Join Us</h2><p>What we offer:</p><ul><li><p>Competitive base salary and a comprehensive bonus program.</p></li><li><p>Three weeks paid vacation in a calendar year,
