Catering/Pantry Attendant - CHUBB

Job Description

To assemble, set up and serve catered events and parties as scheduled as well as stocking, cleaning, and keeping the pantries in order. Responsible for ensuring all arrangements meet the requested order and expectation of the guest.

 

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $42.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble and set up catering requests for delivery.
• Deliver, set up and serve catered events.
• Clean up and return catered events to pantries.
• Maintain “on time” delivery schedule for catered events.
• Act as the “Guest Services Contact” between catered event participants and ARAMARK.
• Prepare and stocking the Aqua Fresca daily.
• Maintaining the coffee machines throughout the client property.
• Set up, keep clean and organized all pantries on client property.
  • Wipe down counters and microwaves.
  • Keeping counter tops wiped clean.
  • Inside of cabinets and drawers wiped clean.
• Countertop products displayed organized and kept filled throughout the day.
• Submit work orders to CBRE for any equipment, building issues that need attention.
• Place slip fall signage for spillage on floors.
• Place any appropriate signage on equipment (out of order – technician has been called) No hand written signage – attendant will be provided with CHUBB/ CBRE approved signage that is laminated.

Qualifications

• Skillfully use hand tools or equipment needed for your work.
• Read directions for the items to be prepared.
• Measure, cut, portion, or otherwise work on materials with great
• precision.
• Use arithmetic to figure amounts of product needed and portions to be
• followed.
• Picture what the finished product and presentation will look like.
• Accept responsibility for the accuracy of the work as produced.
• Maintain a positive attitude, smile, and greet customers as they
• approach the serving line
• Be polite with customers during transactions and make sure they are
• satisfied with their service

Physical Demands include:

• Lifting 50lbs.maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects
• weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Pushing / Pulling: requires the ability to push or pull loaded carts over
• varied terrain and through varied environmental conditions.
• Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
• Includes: Reaching. Handling. Feeling. Talking. Hearing. Seeing.
• Able to walk or stand for extended time periods, up to 6 hours.
