As Senior Research Operations Manager, you will lead the operational foundation that empowers our design and product teams to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions.

What you’ll do

You will oversee the operational infrastructure for our User Insights team, ensuring processes are efficient, inclusive, and impactful. Your responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute four high-impact customer events in New York, such as workshops and roundtable programs, to foster collaboration and innovation.

  • Oversee participant recruitment and operations for customer discussions, ensuring efficiency and participant quality.

  • Develop processes to accelerate research delivery, leveraging technology for actionable insights.

  • Empower designers and product managers with training, resources, and tools to conduct rigorous research.

  • Manage budgets, vendors, and compliance to support global research operations.

Who you are

  • We seek a strategic, organized leader with a passion for operational excellence and a proven track record in research or product operations. You bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in research operations, product operations, or a related field in a fast-paced tech environment.

  • Exceptional project management skills, with expertise in delivering complex programs on time and within budget.

  • Proficiency in leveraging technology and data to streamline workflows (experience with automation or AI tools is a plus).

  • Strong vendor, budget, and compliance management skills, with knowledge of global data privacy standards.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with UX research methodologies or behavioral science.

  • Experience facilitating workshops or customer events.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive research practices.

About Adobe Design

Adobe Design creates tools that amplify the world’s ability to create and communicate. We’re a global team of designers, researchers, prototypers, content strategists, program managers, and more who work across Adobe’s three product lines: Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $106,300 -- $196,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
